Part of the joy of our wide-open spaces is the recreational opportunities it provides. Feel free to bring and set up your own activities and games, or choose from some of our complimentary campus amenities such as basketball, volleyball, hiking, an athletic field, fishing, and our prayer labyrinth. Groups can also make reservations to use our swimming and canoes.

Lodging for JMU Events
We would love to host you for your next JMU visit. Just four miles away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Harrisonburg and the JMU campus, our serene environment and heartfelt hospitality will make you feel a world away. Enjoy complimentary access to our hiking trails, athletic fields, prayer labyrinth and beautiful outdoor spaces. Hubler Lodge features hotel style rooms with private bathrooms and two queen beds. Our Richardson building features two-room suites that connect via a shared bathroom. Suites have four twin beds or one queen bed with two twins in the adjoining room. Free WiFi is also available.
